The telescopic hydraulic cylinder, also known as the multi-step telescopic cylinder, is a hydraulic cylinder with a multi-step sleeve-shaped piston rod with a long working stroke. The telescopic hydraulic cylinders CATSU produce are made up of two or more piston hydraulic cylinders. The rod of the front-stage piston cylinder is the bore of the rear-stage piston cylinder.
The telescopic hydraulic cylinders extend from large to small ones to obtain a much longer working stroke. The smaller the effective area of the overhang cylinder, the faster the extension speed. Therefore, the extension speed gradually decreases and the corresponding hydraulic pressure force reduces. This variation of hydraulic thrust and speed is suitable to meet the thrust and speed requirements of various automatic loading and unloading machines. While the telescopic hydraulic cylinders retract from small to large ones, and the retracting axial length is short, occupying smaller space, and having a compact structure.
Telescopic hydraulic cylinders are commonly used in hydraulic systems of engineering machinery, such as cranes and dump trucks, etc.
